Click here to use our secure online form to make a gift by credit card. You will have the option to spread your gift over the year with a recurring monthly gift, or to set it up as an annual gift.

A pledge is a promise to make a specified gift within a designated time period. Pledges to the Woodlands Fund can be accepted over the phone, or in writing by mail or e-mail. Pledge payment reminders are typically mailed semi-annually in December and April.

Pledges to the Woodlands Fund should be completed within the fiscal year in which the pledge is made. Fiscal years end on the 30th of June of each year. Major gifts for endowment or capital purposes are often completed in installments over multiple years.

In most cases, an outright gift of appreciated securities entitles the donor to an income tax deduction equal to the fair market value of the securities. If you will be transferring stock or other securities to the school, please contact Nikki Bonamarte, Chief Development Officer at 847.234.4300 ext 1034 or email her nbonamarte@woodlandsacademy.org to receive a stock gift form.

In August 2017, the House and Senate passed a comprehensive education funding bill that was signed into law by the governor. The law includes a provision for tax credit scholarships, which provide strong incentives for donors to support non-public school scholarships for low-income students in the state. Illinois students from low-income families may use these new scholarships to attend a non-public school of their choice. Several Woodlands Academy students reside in focus districts and may qualify for tax credit scholarships. Learn more here.

Many companies have a matching gift policy that can double or sometimes triple the amount of a contribution of cash or securities by an employee or their spouse.
