WHY DOES WOODLANDS NEED FINANCIAL SUPPORT EACH YEAR?
Tuition alone does not cover the actual cost of operating the school. This means we ask all members of our community, including alumnae, to participate and give to the Woodlands Fund.
YOUR PARTICIPATION IS VITAL
A community that has a high participation rate among its constituents is a key factor when grant makers consider a gift to Woodlands. Your participation generates additional funds that benefit all of our students.
Your participation - no matter the size - demonstrates your commitment to our school's mission of educating empowered young women.
Since opening our doors in 1858, Convent of the Sacred Heart, later known as Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart, has carried on the mission of Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat of educating intellectually committed, socially aware, globally-engaged young women of faith. Having graduated over 4,000 women and more than 400 of them living abroad our alumnae, like you, work every day in a variety of ways to make our world a better place.
