WACOR
Meet our 2026-2027 WACOR Officers
WACOR (Woodlands Academy Council of Representatives) is the student government and leadership council for Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart.
WACOR helps organize school activities, encourages student involvement in both school and community service initiatives, supports school spirit, and participates in decisions affecting student life.
Members also lead traditions and events, such as selecting the Sacred Heart Goal of the quarter for school awards and hosting community-building activities. Students are elected to WACOR through school-wide elections. The members of WACOR are three officers elected by the school community, a representative elected from each of the advisory groups, and a representative from the Resident Community Council (RCC).
After previously serving as WACOR Secretary, Rei has gained valuable leadership experience working closely with student government leaders and helping organize school initiatives. Outside of WACOR, Rei is deeply involved in the theatre program and debate team, where they have developed strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills through leadership roles such as sole choreographer for school productions. Dedicated to strengthening the connection between WACOR and the student body, Rei hopes to expand school events, improve communication through increased social media outreach, and create a more welcoming experience for incoming students. With a commitment to listening, adaptability, and school spirit, Rei strives to make every student feel heard, supported, and connected within the Woodlands community.
Elisa has served as a WACOR advisory representative for three years and has played an active role in planning school traditions such as the BondFire, movie nights, WA Dance decorations, and birthday celebrations. Her leadership experience also includes serving as a Stuart class representative and co-leading the costumes department for school productions. Known for her strong organizational skills, accountability, and clear communication, Elisa is passionate about strengthening student involvement and ensuring every voice is heard. As vice president, she hopes to improve communication through advisory updates, introduce new community-building activities, and continue enhancing the traditions that make the Woodlands community so special.
Through her involvement in WACOR’s Food and Student Services Committee, Bella has already made a meaningful impact by gathering student feedback through a lunch survey and presenting improvement ideas that contributed to positive cafeteria changes. Bella brings leadership experience from athletics, International Club, GRA, and her work at the Kohl Children’s Museum, where she has developed strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Passionate about creating an inclusive and connected school community, she hopes to continue organizing memorable events while introducing educational opportunities around important awareness topics. Bella’s commitment to listening, supporting others, and giving back reflects her deep appreciation for the Woodlands community and Sacred Heart values.
