Student Life

Thrive in the Classroom and Beyond

A young woman’s journey toward discovering her purpose begins the first day she walks through the doors at Woodlands Academy.

Through Woodlands’ classes, co-curricular offerings, and Sacred Heart traditions, she will gain the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed for a successful launch into university study and beyond. With an average class size of just 16 students, Woodlands teachers know not only every girl’s name but also her abilities and strengths, where she excels, and where resilience must be nurtured. Our faculty members support, motivate, and challenge each girl as an individual.

This sense of being known and loved is not limited to classroom lessons. Our House Program promotes friendships by encouraging interactions and connections across all grade levels. Spiritual, academic, and co-curricular activities provide girls with opportunities for leadership and camaraderie. The bonds formed between Woodlands students last a lifetime.

Woodlands Traditions

Woodlands Academy's identity as a Sacred Heart School brings with a long history of traditions that go far beyond the classroom. Some Woodlands traditions, such as espacio and Lambs at the Manger date back generations. Others, such as our House Program, are more recent additions that have already become cherished traditions for our students and alumnae.
