We will start the class by learning about differentials, hydraulic shock absorbers, gearing, and suspensions; and quickly see them in action by building RC kits that feature all of these elements. Next, we will design paint schemes and shoot action camera videos of the cars on dirt trails on campus. Then we race! Open to girls entering grades 7 - 9.

The class begins with learning about and getting comfortable with power tools. With an emphasis on proper techniques and safety skills, we will learn about layout and measurement fundamentals and precise cutting, shaping, and assembly techniques. After that, we pick a tree on campus and design and build a treehouse or three. Open to girls entering grades 7 - 9.
