Student Leadership

Student Government

Woodlands Academy Council of Representatives (WACOR)

Woodlands Academy Council of Representatives (WACOR) is the school’s main student governing body, an elected self-governing student/faculty organization that promotes community among our students, faculty, and administration. WACOR helps to plan and support school and community-related activities and facilitates communication among students and faculty. WACOR includes representatives from each advisory group and a president, vice-president, and secretary/treasurer.

Class Officers

Each Woodlands class elects a class president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer who are responsible for planning and managing their classmates’ activities and events.

Resident Advisory Council (RAC)

Resident Advisory Council (RAC) is the residence hall’s elected student government. Comprised of two council members from each class, RAC plans activities for all boarding students, contributes to an atmosphere of care and concern in the Woodlands Academy Residence Life program and promotes cooperation among students and staff.
