Our Admission Process

The first step of the process is to complete an online inquiry form. Upon completing the form, you will receive an email with log-in instructions to the online admission portal. The online portal contains event registration, the application, and all other steps in order to complete the application process.

Student Visit Day

The Student Visit is a highly recommended event for prospective 8th grade students to live the day in the life of a Woodlands Academy student. Prospective students will have the opportunity to participate in two classes of their choice and join our students in Woodlands' tour campus, and have lunch with the current student body. Student Visit Days take place from 8 am - 12:30 pm. You may register for a Student Visit by clicking this link or in the online admissions portal. 

Open House

The Open House is an event for all 6th, 7th and 8th grade prospective families. We invite you to understand our philosophy to teach to the whole child and to engage in numerous panels with our students, faculty, alumnae & current parents.

Parent Tour

The Parent Tour is an opportunity for prospective 8th grade parents to see Woodlands Academy 'live in action'. Parents will have the opportunity to tour the campus and engage in a panel of faculty, students, current parents and recent alumnae. You may register for the Parent Tour in the online admissions portal. 

The application for the 2025-2026 school year is now 'live' in the online admission portal. The application can be accessed via the online admissions portal.

Transcripts: In order to complete the application process, Woodlands Academy requires a copy of the applicant's transcript of the previous two academic years. Transcripts can be uploaded via the online admission portal.

Recommendations: Woodlands Academy requires recommendations from the applicant's current Math teacher, current English teacher & current Principal/Counselor. The recommendations can be completed via the online admission portal.

Woodlands Academy recognizes standardized test scores vary by country and therefore will accept the SSAT, HSPT, ISEE or any national standardized test score. The test score must be submitted in English. 

At Woodlands Academy, we are committed to enrolling a student body of all economic backgrounds and is a critical component to creating a healthy school culture. Applying for Financial Aid has no bearing on your admissions decision and will be held in strict confidence.

Upon completing the application process, domestic day student applicants will receive their decision via the online admission portal. 

International applicants are admitted on a rolling basis.
