International Applicants

The first step of the process is to complete the Online Inquiry Form. Upon completing the form, you will receive an email with login instructions to the online admission portal. The online portal contains event registration, the application, and all other steps in order to complete the application process.

The application for the 2025-2026 school year is now 'live' in the online admission portal. The application can be accessed via the online admissions portal. International boarding students are accepted on a rolling basis. There is no deadline to the admission process for international boarding students.

Interviews are required for all international candidates and will be conducted via Zoom. The interview is an opportunity for the applicant to tell the admission team who you are and for the applicant to become acquainted with Woodlands Academy. The admissions office will reach out to the applicant to schedule a time to interview once the application is submitted.

Transcripts: In order to complete the application process, Woodlands Academy requires a copy of the applicant's current year transcript and transcript of the previous academic year. Transcripts can be uploaded via the online admission portal.

Recommendations: Woodlands Academy requires recommendations from the applicant's current Math teacher, current English teacher & current Principal/Counselor. The recommendations can be completed via the online admission portal.

 *Woodlands Academy allows applicants to submit an additional recommendation from an adult that can attest to the applicant's character. 

*Please note all supplemental documents (transcripts & recommendations) must be translated to English. Woodlands Academy does not offer translation services.
 

Standardized Test Scores: Woodlands Academy recognizes standardized test scores vary by country and therefore will accept the SSAT, HSPT, ISEE or any national standardized test score. The test score must be submitted in English. Woodlands Academy does not offer translation services.

English Proficiency Test Scores: Woodlands Academy accepts the TOEFL and/or the Duolingo English Test. Test scores can be uploaded via the online admission portal. Upon uploading your English proficiency test results, the admission office will contact you to set up a time to interview via Zoom.

At Woodlands Academy, we are committed to enrolling a student body of all economic backgrounds which is a critical component to creating a healthy school culture. Applying for Financial Aid has no bearing on your admissions decision and will be held in strict confidence.

Upon completing the application process, international applicants will receive their decision on a rolling basis. Decisions will be updated in the online admission portal under the 'decision' tab.
