Robust ESL Program
Students take a placement test to determine their appropriate ESL level. They then take the TOEFL test yearly and remain in ESL until they earn a TOEFL score of 80 or above.
For TOEFL Scores 40-80Woodlands Academy's ESL program supports students with TOEFL scores ranging from 40-80.

For TOEFL Scores 80+
Once a student scores an 80 or above on her TOEFL, she is in all mainstream classes, but still benefits from support for English language learners.
Dedicated International Student ADVISOR
The International Student advisor follows each student's academic progress, works with her to ease her transition to the American classroom, and helps ensure that she is fulfilling the requirements of each class. She is also the primary contact between the parents and the school regarding academic issues.
- Submit the Standard Application Online (SAO).Priority will be given to applicants who apply by January 10, 2019.
- Submit your Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score. The Woodlands Academy code is 7375.
- Submit your Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT). The Woodlands Academy code is 8273. This is optional for international students.
- Schedule an on-campus or Skype interview with a member of the Office of Admission.
