Each Lent, Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart selects a topic and a practice to help us grow closer to God. Lent is the Church’s retreat during which we prepare ourselves for the Passion, the Holy Week liturgies, and the Feast of the Resurrection (Easter Day). It is a very important time for each of us to do this work of prayer, fasting, reflection, and action. Woodlands’ Campus Ministry Team and the Service Club – both student organizations – collaborate with WACOR to set us on our Lenten path on Ash Wednesday, 13 February 2013.
