Programs of sports and fitness at Woodlands build courage and confidence, develop potential for leadership and for cooperation through teamwork, and encourage students to strive for personal best.
Whatever the skill level, Woodlands values participation and good sportsmanship. Our athletic program promotes wellness and a lifetime of good health while recognizing that interscholastic sports provide an important opportunity for students to express themselves with assurance.
Woodlands is a member of IHSA, and Woodlands offers junior varsity and/or varsity teams in volleyball, tennis, field hockey, basketball, soccer, and softball. Crew is available as a club sport. Woodlands competes against both Independent School League and non-conference teams. Our excellent athletic program has gained much regional recognition through repeated Independent School League championships as well as Player and Coach of the Year awards.
